How a reliable thermistor is made?

Our production process in Nanjing begins with controlled ceramic powder formulation. From there, the material goes through high-temperature sintering, electrode coating, glass or epoxy encapsulation, and automated lead welding. Each stage includes measurements and verification steps. 

Shiheng supplies a wide range of thermal control products, including temperature-sensing NTC thermistors, inrush current limiters, compensation thermistors, and custom probe assemblies. Different industries require different structures, wire materials, insulation options, and thermal responses, so our engineering team often works with customers directly to fine-tune parameters like R25, B-value, thermal time constant, and probe design.

 

Testing that simulates real-world conditions.

Before any thermistor is approved for shipment, it undergoes reliability testing. We evaluate performance under high temperature, high humidity, thermal cycling, and long-term aging at rated power. Resistance drift and B-value stability are closely monitored. These tests help ensure the device remains reliable across long service lifetimes, especially in automotive and industrial environments.
