    The function of the power NTC thermistor is to avoid the surge current generated in the electronic circuit at the moment of power-on. Therefore, connecting a power NTC thermistor in series in the power supply circuit can effectively suppress the surge current at power-on. After the surge current suppression function is completed, due to the continuous action of the current passing through it, the resistance value of the power NTC thermistor will drop to a very small level. The power it consumes can be ignored and will not affect the normal working current. Therefore, using a power NTC thermistor in the power supply circuit is the simplest and most effective measure to suppress the surge at power-on to ensure that the electronic equipment is not damaged.

    MF72, MF73T-1 series products are applicable to the protection of filaments of conversion power supplies, switching power supplies, UPS power supplies, electronic energy-saving lamps, electronic ballasts and various heaters, incandescent lamps and other lighting fixtures. This current value exceeds the upper limit of most components in the equipment. In this case, certain protection measures must be taken for these components.
